'Home of the platypus'
The Commonwealth Bank has just signed a new three year lease to keep the ATM in its current location in the front of the Skipton Community Op-Shop a very welcome decision for the residents of Skipton and District.
Happy Committee Members, Coordinator of Skipton Community Opportunity Shop Stan Foote and Vice President Margaret Clark were delighted to be able to let the members of the community know the great news that the CBA ATM will be staying in its current location at the Skipton Op-Shop entrance, so very convenient for all.
A big win for Skipton.
Thank you CBA and Well Done to the Op-Shop Staff.
The "Op Shop" has become an extremely busy focus of the local Town Centre.
With "well-stocked" shelves and clothing racks, so much has been achieved by the small but hard working group of individuals, (some we see, and others unseen); in a comparatively short time frame, through generous community contributions.
Fully staffed and administered by friendly community volunteers, all proceeds from the sales of new and used items through the shop, are returned to the community, with the funds raised assisting many local organisations and groups to complete major projects.
Generous donations by various benefactors also assist the Committee of the Op Shop to enable many of the Community Groups and Organisations to access Grants funding to achieve proceeds for projects, through the Community Shop.
Thank you so much everyone.
